Overview
The 3 Days Queen Elizabeth Safari takes you to Uganda’s most popular savannah national park, renowned for its incredible wildlife, scenic landscapes, and diverse ecosystems. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to over 95 mammal species and more than 600 bird species, making it one of the best safari destinations in East Africa.
This short safari combines exciting game drives with a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel, offering excellent opportunities to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and numerous bird species. The park’s stunning scenery, including crater lakes, savannah plains, wetlands, and the distant Rwenzori Mountains, makes every moment memorable.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe or Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and begin the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The drive takes you through Uganda’s scenic countryside, passing tea plantations, local villages, rolling hills, and the beautiful landscapes of western Uganda. Along the way, there will be opportunities to stop for photographs and refreshments.
Arrive at the park in the afternoon and check into your lodge. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short evening game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Wake up early for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The open savannah attracts large numbers of wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, and lions. With luck, you may also spot leopards, hyenas, and other predators before they retreat from the morning sun.
Return to the lodge for lunch before heading to the Kazinga Channel for an afternoon boat cruise. This natural channel connects Lake George and Lake Edward and is famous for its abundant wildlife.
During the cruise, you will see large numbers of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and many bird species gathering along the water’s edge. The boat cruise is often considered one of the highlights of any visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Return to Entebbe or Kampala
After an early breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in the park. This is another opportunity to search for wildlife that may have been missed during previous activities while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the park.
After the game drive, begin the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy lunch en route and take in the changing landscapes as you travel through western Uganda.
Arrive in the evening and transfer to your hotel or Entebbe International Airport.
