The Canopy walkway is the ideal approach to experience the splendor of Nyungwe National Park, an old forest. Thankfully, it is the only 60-meter-tall attraction in East Africa, and the sturdy steel bridge that was erected atop the tree provides tourists with a breathtaking aerial view of the birds, primates, and unending forest.

The duration of the trekking trip can range from thirty to five hours. You are given an hour to observe and learn about these critters and how they live in the forest after you have placed them in their natural habitat.

Trekking with Colobus Monkeys

One of the 13 hiking routes in Nyungwe Forest takes you into the home of creatures such the Grey-Cheeked Mangabeys, L’Hoest Monkeys, Owl Faced Monkeys, Blue Monkeys, and Mona Monkeys. You will be escorted by a guide as you follow this trail, and you may see up to 200 Rwenzori Colobus Monkeys along with various bird species and stunning butterflies.
