Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, depart Kampala or Entebbe and travel to Kibale Forest National Park. The journey takes you through beautiful countryside, tea plantations, local villages, and scenic landscapes of western Uganda.
Arrive in the afternoon and check into your lodge. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing while enjoying views of the surrounding forest.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Walk
After an early breakfast, transfer to Kibale Forest headquarters for a briefing before starting your chimpanzee tracking experience.
Follow experienced guides through the forest in search of habituated chimpanzees. Once located, spend time observing their behavior as they feed, communicate, and move through the forest canopy.
After lunch, enjoy a guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a rich habitat for birds, monkeys, and other wildlife.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Boat Cruise
After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive offers spectacular views of crater lakes, the Rwenzori Mountains, and the surrounding countryside.
Upon arrival, enjoy lunch before proceeding for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. The channel is famous for its large concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous bird species.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha
Wake up early for a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains where you may spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, and other wildlife.
After the game drive, continue through the Ishasha Sector, famous for its tree climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive while searching for these unique predators before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking Experience
After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing.
Accompanied by experienced guides and rangers, enter the rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek may take between one and six hours depending on the location of the gorillas.
Once found, spend one unforgettable hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat before returning to the lodge.

Day 6: Return to Entebbe or Kampala
After breakfast, check out and begin the return journey to Kampala or Entebbe. Stop at the Equator for photographs, lunch, and souvenir shopping before continuing to your hotel or Entebbe International Airport. Arrive in the evening, marking the end of your safari.
