Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: About 4 to 5 hours, pick up from Nairobi and go to Masai Mara national reserve for evening wildlife drive.
Your safari guide will meet you depending on where you live in Nairobi city to travel to the untouched Savannah, Masai Mara Game Reserve. Actually, Masai Mara is the northern half of the Great Plains habitat found in adjacent Tanzania near Serengeti national park. Along with cheetah, zebra, giraffe, and large numbers of plain antelope and many other species, it is home to the five great games: lion, buffalo, rhino, leopard, and elephant. With en-route attractions, the drive is five to six hours.
Arriving, have lunch and then link for an afternoon game drive in quest of the big five. Photographs of the lovely Mara rolling plains would be ideal when the sun begins to gradually drop below the horizon. Remember this is the ideal moment to find the shy leopard. Day 2: Masai Mara full day game watching
Breakfast followed by a full day in the park with packed lunch in search of its well-liked residents. Early July to end September, the Masai Mara grasslands are teeming with wildebeest; zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle are often observed; leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes abound. Though they are a little shy and difficult to find, black rhinos are usually observed far away if you are lucky. Along with very big Nile crocodiles, which wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual search for fresh pastures, hippos abound in the Mara River. Optional activity: Hot air balloon — Wake early and be picked up by the air balloon team for your early morning hot air balloon tour, right in time for sunrise. You will be gently floating above the ground for roughly one hour, viewing the African bush from bird’s eye. Given the limited capacity for this activity, this is a particularly unique and exceptional experience. Breakfast will be served; thereafter, you will return to the lodge.
Day 3: Once more in Masai Mara in the North Eastern corner of the reserve
Depending on the month you have flown in, meet your guide after breakfast and move to the north eastern end of the park to increase your chances of witnessing more animals and the Wildebeest migration on the Mara River. The wildebeest migration is not assured, nevertheless, to find the crossing. Driving to Mara River, you will see the enormous migration generally between June and July and October to November as the survival of the fittest pass by the gigantic Nile crocodiles in the water, a huge pride of hunting lions in the land either leaving or entering the river. You will have fun in the park all day and then late evening return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as described above.
Day 4: Via Isabenia border, move to Serengeti National Park.
You will check out from the resort and have a really early breakfast to start your trip to Serengeti national park in Tanzania. On your journey to Isebania border, where you will be crossing, you will have an en-route game drive. You will leave the park via Olololo gate in Mara west today and find yourself on another side of Masai Mara.
Once at the border, the customs office will perform clearance; then, meet your Tanzanian driver guide to head to Serengeti, where you will enter the park with a two-hour wildlife drive enjoying the plains of Serengeti. Day five: a full day game drive in Northern Serengeti National Park
Start from far North near the Mara river in case you arrived on the opposite month when the migration will start from Serengeti. Now this will be your opportunity to enjoy the greatest early breakfast, grab parked lunch and go for a full day wildlife drive. Search for these animals—including hippos, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, antelopes, Hartebeest, zebras mention but a few—spans the full day. Day 6: Still another day of game drive in central Serengeti
Meet your driver and connect for another day game drive in the Serengeti plains with your packed picnic lunch following your great breakfast to find some more/other wildlife the Lions, Thomson gazelles, topi, ostriches, cheetahs elephants, leopards, hyenas, rhinos to list but a few. Day 7: Masai Community visit and Crater trip to Ngorongoro conservation area
Set off around four hours’ journey to reach the Ngorongoro reserve region after breakfast. Arriving, plunge 600 meters down into the crater. Considered as one of the largest volcanic calderas worldwide, it hosts more than a million species including the uncommon black rhino among the five big ones. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, Elephants, Buffalos, zebras and more are among the other animals. After your lunch break, later evening, visit the Masai Boma settlement for a Masai cultural tour before you connect to your booked lodge for leisure, dinner and overnight stay at Hhando Coffee Lodge for budget/Tlowa Lodge mid-range.

Day 8: Tarangire’s full day game drive then transferred to Arusha
Drive to Tarangire national park after breakfast. With your packed lunch, connect for a whole day game drive in the Tarangire national park to enjoy views of many species.

Day 9: Own booked flight to Uganda
Your scheduled flight will determine whether the driver drops you off at Kilimanjaro airport for your continuing travel to Uganda.

Day 10: Move to Bwindi, impenetrable national park
You will meet your safari guide and head to Bwindi national park after breakfast. The park is in southwest the nation; the travel there takes eight to nine hours. You will stop at the equator via Masaka road, where you will be able to browse the craft shop and snap pictures before continuing lunch the way. Day 11: Experience of gorilla trekking
Following early breakfast and a transfer to park headquarters for a briefing before the gorilla trip sets off. Depending on where the gorillas are located, trekking takes two to seven hours. It is an amazing and privileged experience to be walking across the high, heavily forested hills and then eventually across the gorillas disguised in the jungle. As you record images and videos of your experience with the gorillas, you will be let spend roughly one hour with them. Drive back to the resort with the driver-guide at your meeting place. Day 12: boat excursion via the Kazinga channel; then, transfer to Kibale national park
After breakfast, start your journey to Kibale forest national park in western Uganda, approximately six to seven hours’ driving with stops lunch through Queen Elizabeth national park, home of the tree-climbing lions.
Arriving in Queen Elizabeth national park, you eat en-route lunch before connecting for a boat journey down the Kazinga strait separating Lake Edward from George. Along with numerous other animals including elephants, antelopes, crocodiles, and many bird species, the channel boasts the highest concertation of hippos. Following the two-hour boat trip, meet your driver and head to Kibale National Park; depending on the time, en-route stop at the Uganda Equator and crater lake tours. Day 13: Nature stroll and chimps’ trekking
Drive to Kibale park head offices for a chimpanzee briefing following breakfast. Enter the jungle and begin to trail the chimpanzees in their natural habitat; it takes two to five hours to locate them; once you do, you have one hour to be in their process as they swing from the trees in the canopy far above the ground.
Discover the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary in the afternoon. The area boasts a great abundance of butterflies, flora, animals, and—especially birds. Birders will especially be very interested in spectacular birds like Great Blue Turaco and uncommon Papyrus Gonolek. More secretive species such Sitatunga antelope and Red Colobus monkeys call the wetland home. One also has the chance to visit nearby initiatives funded by tourism. Day 14: Leave for Entebbe from
See your driver after breakfast and then return to Entebbe. About six hours’ travel including en-route tour of tea estates and lunch. Once in Entebbe, the vehicle will drop you off at the airport for your return home.
